Uganda and Ethiopia sign MoU
Uganda and Ethiopia have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen defence ties.
The signing was done by Uganda’s Defence Minister, Crispus Kiyonga and his counterpart, Siraj Fegessa, at Mbuya Army Headquarters in Kampala yesterday.
Kiyonga said the MoU is aimed at strengthening the cooperation of the two countries in defence matters to enforce peace and stability in the region.
On the other hand, Fegessa commended Uganda’s efforts to promote peace in the region and Africa at large.
