Two youth groups receive 6 motorcycles in Kashari county Mbarara district
Mbarara District Chairperson Capt. JB Bamuturaki Tumusiime has called upon beneficiaries of Youth Livelihood Program to always have ownership of government projects and take keen interest in record keeping as way of assessing themselves.
Capt. Tumusiime made the remarks yesterday while officiating at the handover of six motorcycles worth shs 25 million to two youth groups of Rugarama II Abamwe youth boda-boda group and Kashaka- Keiba Youth boda-boda group in Bubare Sub County in Kashari county Mbarara district under Youth Livelihood program held at Bubare Sub county headquarters.
He urged the beneficiaries to own their projects and fulfill government’s agenda of alleviating poverty in the country.
Meanwhile, LC 3 Chairperson Bubare sub county Robert Kanene asked the youth group members not to personalize the motorcycles but use them as a group with transparency if they are to make profit and benefit together.
