Three Rwandan Army Generals arrested.
Rwanda – Three top army generals have reportedly been put under house arrest over undisclosed reason.
The arrested are Joseph Nzabamwita, Fred Ibingira, Emmanuel Ruvusha who are restricted from moving, an order by Rwandan president Paul Kagame.
Reports indicate that General Paul Kagame has placed three military generals under house arrest amidst closure of Rwanda-Uganda border points.
Nzabamwita is the Secretary-General of the National Intelligence and Security Services (NISS), Ibingira is Rwanda’s fourth top officer with the rank of a full General and Ruvusha holds a rank of Major General.
It is further reported that General Ibingira’s wife was stopped at Kigali International Airport and her passport confiscated.
