Theoratical learning responsible for unemployment
You can not go a day without hearing about the worsening unemployment rate in Uganda, youth demonstrations and moaning from mainly the jobless brotherhood and the poor youth.
A number of reason are said to be responsible for youth unemployment but International University of East Africa’s (IUEA) Vice Chancellor is Professor Olubayi Olubayi says that the unpractical education system is to blame. the Professor says attending theory classes without the practical part will continue to have Uganda producing half baked Graduates.
The Uganda Bureau of Statistics in 2012 revealed that the share of unemployed youth among the total unemployed persons in the country was 64 percent.
