Oulanya says Public confidence in parliament has dwindled in the recent past leading to voter apathy during elections.
Oulanyah says it is the responsibility and mandate of Parliament and the Executive, who account directly to the people that elect them, to ensure that citizens appreciate the benefits of participatory democracy.
This while addressing a press conference ahead of the 3rd annual parliament Week that will be held from 13th to 19th January 2019 under the theme; ‘Championing Accountability to Improve Service Delivery’.
