Speaker Kadaga Directs Government to Explain the Security Situation In the Country
Speaker Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga has directed the Prime Minister Dr. Ruhakana Rugunda to report to parliament before the end of next week on how government is tackling the problem of insecurity in the country.
This is after the Bukoto south mp Muyanja Mbabali complained about the increasing security threats in bars that has even led to loss of lives.
Mbabali adds that during the burial of Moses Sekibogo who was commonly known as Radio groups of thugs attacked people but nothing was done to condemn the acts nothing was done to ensure they do not re-occur which he says is worrying.
Mbabali was supported by Kaplebyong MP Julius Ochen who also said there is a sytematic mechanism of killing people in soroti with ropes and says that this trend is woryying and requires government intervention
This prompted the speaker to demand an explanation from government by next week.
