Police buries bodies of 30 women killed in Nansana and Entebbe
Bodies of women who were murdered in the series of killings that took place in Entebbe, Nansana, and largely Wakiso district have been buried by police.
Speaking at the weekly police presser in Kampala yesterday, Police Spokesperson, Asan Kasingye, disclosed that of all the 30 bodies which were discovered by police, none has been claimed by the public.
He said police forensic department carried out tests and took DNA samples from each body for future investigations in case relatives to the deceased surface.
The remains were buried at a secure place where relatives can find them on request. The continued ruthless killings which have been mainly targeting women, even prompting President Yoweri Museveni to visit Entebbe have rose tensions among locals in the various affected areas.
