Opposition members storm out of parliament
Opposition members of parliament walked out of Parliament this afternoon.
Led by the Chief whip, Cecilia Ogwal, the opposition protested the voting on a minority report tabled by Muwanga Kivumbi without debate.
Parliament has finally started debating the Constitutional Amendments bill 2015.
This is after 290 Member of Parliament voted for the 2nd reading of the bill, 33 voted no, while 4 MPs abstained.
The bill requires support of two thirds of voting Members of Parliament to pass at the second and third readings.
