NRM unveils 2019 roadmap, Primaries could be held by lining up
The National resistance Movement(NRM) Party, has unveiled their 2019 road map.
Unveiling the road map at the party headquarters in Kyadondo road, Kampala, the party’s secretary General, Justine Kasule Lumumba said Justine Lumumba from January to February 2019, the party will do mobilization of NRM members to participate in National Identification and Registration Authority process to have national identity cards.
Kasule adds that they will have district conferences between April and May and compile membership registers between April and August this year. The party will also extract the NRM voters register between September to November in preparation for the NRM conference in November 2019.
Meanwhile Kasule reveals that the delegates conference will also handle issues of constitutional amendments for NRM, to de3ciding on whether the primaries should e held by secret ballot or by lining up behind the candidate.
