Newly Appointed Judges Deployed
15 Judicial Official including the 10 newly appointed Judges have been deployed to begin work in different Divisions and Circuits of the High court in the Country.
Principal Judge issued the circular saying that following the recent appointments, it had become necessary to effect changes in management of Divisions and Curcuits, with a view to attain more efficient delivery of Judicial Services.
He notes that all postings take immediate effect, but subject to the usual completion of partly heard cases in advanced stage at current station, and timely delivery of pending Judgements and rulings.
Justice Paul Gadenya Wolimbwa who was the Chief Registrar of Courts of Judicature has been deployed to the High court Division of Judiciary Projects, Execution and Bailiffs.
Justice Musa Sekaana is deployed at the Civil Division of the High court, while Justice Olive Kazaarwe Mukwaya is deployed at the Commercial court.
Justice Jane Francis Abodo has been deployed at the Criminal Division of the High court.
Others Justice Emmanuel Baguma has been posted to Gulu, Justice Tadeo Asiimwe posted to Mbale , Justice Alex Ajiji posted to Lira and Justice Joyce Kavuma posted to Mbarara High courts respectively among others.
Meanwhile those who have been in active service but have also been transferred include; Age Limit Judge Magret Oguli Oumo who has been at the High court Civil Division, but now moved to the International Criminal Division.
Justice Andrew Bashaija who has been head Land Division has been replaced by Justice John Keitirima, and taken to head the Civil Division.
