Mp Atiku to Visit Buikwe, Rakai and Nakasongola to Seek Views On Child Sacrifice Bill
Ayivu County mp Bernard Atiku says his team is to move to districts with high child sacrifice cases in the country for consultations in order to come up with good Law.
Recently parliament granted Atiku leave to draft a private members bill entitled “Prohibition and prevention of Child Sacrifice”.
According to Atiku they are to visits Districts including Buikwe, Rakai and Nakasongola to seek view of both leaders and population about the bill.
He says by August this year, he expects to be reading this bill on the floor of parliament.
Atiku, who is also the chairman of the parliamentary forum on children adds that in the intended bill to incorporate clause that protects people who come as witness in courts of law as perpetrators of human sacrifice are tried
