Mini Buzz Kyogereko finds home at Bukedde TV
NTV Uganda early this year announced that the daily public expression platform, Mini Buzz Kyogereko was no more. But little did we know we would be encountering a shocker, as heated as losing out to a rival station.
Croozefm exclusively reveals the programme among other things had become famous for offering free rides, will be back in the next couple of weeks.
We caught up on the negotiations currently going on between the Made in Africa (makers and owners of the programme) and their new partners, Vision Group. Our tipsters recently spotted the Mini Buzz Producer, Kalibbala at the Vision Group premises, and we gather she was finalizing with her new partners. We haven’t made out who will be on the microphone, but it’s likely that former co-presenters Anne Kansiime and Brian Mulondo will be back in season two.
A source privy to the circumstances that led to the programme’s departure from NTVU claims there were misunderstandings and the Mini Buzz team suggested that Mulondo and Kansiime resign ahead of re-reinstatement on another television station.
At the beginning of the year, NTVU management announced: “Dear viewers, effective this week, MINI BUZZ will no longer air on NTV. We are glad that you have been part of the commuter van journey of this show that puts the spotlight on the issues of the day. However, like with every ride one has to alight at some point. It has been a rewarding experience and we would like to thank you and the production company for having made the journey worth everyone’s while.”
