- The Member of Parliament Mbarara municipality, Michael Tusiime has apologized to the public on behalf of the parliament for the behavior that was exhibited against the constitution amendment on presidential age limit that was not honorable.
- Michael said it is so unfortunate that the information is not
disseminated to the public very well to the extent that people have not even had an opportunity to look at the bill or the motion itself. Michael Tusiime gave the statement during a press briefing in Mbarara town at Booma in Mbarara.
He advised according to his personal opinion that, however the controversial bill may be, Members of Parliament must approach it with civility by sitting down as Ugandans to build capacity to determine where people want to go.
