Zielinski linked with Manchester switch.
Manchester United and Manchester City are set to go head-to-head once again in a transfer battle for Piotr Zielinski.
TalkSPORT cite speculation in Italy when claiming that the Premier League giants have both sent scouts to watch the Udinese starlet, and are both considering a summer move for the player.
The Dutchman has netted 29 goals in all competitions this season, and has been cited by Roberto Mancini as the difference in the title racethis term.
It was Sir Alex Ferguson who lured the Dutchman to Old Trafford of course, and now it’s David Moyes’ turn to try and get one over on this season’s Premier League runners-up elect.
Zielinski has built a reputation at Udinese after making his debut at the end of 2012, with the 18-year-old featuring eight more times in Serie ‘A’ since that first appearance for the Zebrette.
Manchester United will hope their history and success will be enough to lure the player to their club.
Manchester City, meanwhile, have vast wealth to splash on the youngster, as well as one of the most expensively assembled squads in world football at the Etihad Stadium.
However, the future of manager Roberto Mancini could be a concern, with the Italian reportedly in the firing line this summer after failing to win a trophy.
