Man Sentenced 23 Months for Theft
Patrick Kinyera, the only suspect arrested in the theft at home of Patiko councilor 5 in Gulu district has been sentenced to 23 months.
Kinyera was arrested early last week from his home in Gulu district by residents who allegedly found to have left his shirt at Komakech’s home.
Joseph Angole, the Gulu Grade One Magistrate sentenced Kinyera to 23 months in jail.
Komakech last week told the press in Gulu that he found a group of five men ferrying his property through the window.
Among the properties that were stolen by the 5 men were clothes, 3 sacks of beans and 1 sack of millet.
Kinyera became the prime suspect after residents identified his shirt which was left behind during the scuffle with the Komakech-the owner of the house.
