M7 Lauds anti-corruption court for fighting the vice
President Museveni has warned free legal service providers against extending their services to corrupt government officials.
The President, who commended the Anti-corruption Court in the fight against corruption in the country, also warned judges to be careful in handling the corrupt on grounds that they slow down the court process to defeat justice.
The President Museveni warned legal experts at the opening of the third annual legal aid conference at Speke Resort Munyonyo in Kampala on Monday.
But the Constitution presumes everyone is innocent until proven guilty by competent courts of law, hence everyone is entitled to legal representation whether free or not.
