Lots of United players want out- Anderson
Anderson has given David Moyes a further headache by suggesting there are a number of unhappy Manchester United players who wish to follow him out of Old Trafford.
Moyes has made no secret of his desire for a clear out at United, Anderson was on the top of that list last month – joining Fiorentina on loan until the end of the season.
Despite the signing of Juan Mata in January, United were reminded of the grim new reality facing them this season after losing 2-1 to Stoke City on Saturday.
The Brazilian believes there are ‘lots of players’ at United who will want to leave Old Trafford regardless of whether they are part of Moyes’ plans or not – including Portuguese winger Nani.
“I’m sure that lots of players want out, especially players like myself and Nani who have been in Manchester for seven or eight years,” Anderson told the Manchester Evening News..
“Manchester United is a huge club, a club that does everything for its players but sometimes a footballer wants to leave just to experience a different way to play football, to learn something as well.”
Anderson also confirmed he hopes to make his switch to Italy a permanent one.
“I am grateful to be here to try and win as many titles as I have in Manchester. Definitely I want to stay here,” he said.
“Playing in Manchester was great, it’s a prestigious club with a lot of history but I’ve been there 7 or 8 years and I’m grateful to be here to show Fiorentina what I can do and fight for a spot in the starting lineup.
