Land Probe Commission issues criminal summons to State House Official
The Land Probe Commission has issued Criminal Summons to a Special Presidential Assistant for Under Privilleged Youth, Resty Kiguli Nakayenga, to appear before it not later than 26th this week, and testify as a witness in connection to the Estate of the late Albert Mackay Kalula Mukasa.
The Commission has evidence that Nakayenga got herself involved in a case of connivance with fraudsters to grab land belonging to the estate of the said Albert Mackay Kalula Mukasa, a son of Ham Mukasa, who was a one-time Buganda kingdom official of Kyaggwe in Mukono District.
Commission Chair Justice Catherine Bamugemereire issued Criminal Summons on the request of Lead Counsel Ebert Byenkya who informed her that they have tried to write to the State House Official but she is not forthcoming.
Justice Bamugemereire then warned that if Nakayenga does not comply, the Commission will compel her to appear.
