Lady GaGa Teases Her Upcoming Documentary ‘Gaga: Five Foot Two’
Lady GaGa took to Instagram and Twitter on Thursday, August 24 to tease her upcoming documentary “GaGa: Five Foot Two”. The documentary will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival before arriving on Netflix September 22.
GaGa previewed several clips from the documentary. In the various clips, she was seen preparing for a medical procedure, flying to the top of NRG Stadium for her Super Bowl halftime show and grappling with the loneliness that comes with life in the public eye.
“I’m alone, every night, and all these people will leave,” Gaga says in between sobs. “They will leave and I’ll be home alone. I go from everyone touching me all day, and talking at me all day, to total silence.”
The documentary was directed by Chris Moukarbel (“Banksy Does New York”), who followed GaGa for a year to create a frank, intimate portrait of the pop star as she grappled with everything from “relationships to health issues, from finding solace in her inner circle to conquering her insecurities.”
In a video posted on Instagram, GaGa discussed her ongoing feud with Madonna, where she admitted that she didn’t have a problem with the singer, who famously called the former “reductive” in 2012. However, the visual cuts out just as she shared, “The only thing that really bothers me about her…”
