Lady GaGa Makes Surprise Appearance in Front of All Five Former Presidents at Benefit Concert
Lady GaGa made a surprise appearance at One America Appeal’s benefit concert called “Deep from the Heart: One America Appeal Concert” on October 21. The concert, which all five former presidents (Jimmy Carter, George H. W, Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama) attended, was held to help raise funds for hurricane’s victims, including those in Florida and Puerto Rico.
Wearing a low cut white suit, the “Perfect Illusion” singer delivered a short speech before performing her songs. She said, “It is such an honor to be here. Thank you so much for coming together in such compassion. I feel very very honored and humbled.”
“I was thinking about that I thought the most special thing of all is how pain is such an equalizer,” she continued. “And in a time of catastrophe, we all put out differences aside and we come together. Because we need each other or we can’t survive. This is a historical moment; that we are truly one nation under God.”
GaGa then started performing a piano medley of her hit songs, which were “Million Reasons”, “You and I” and “The Edge of Glory”. The audiences, including the five former presidents, were amazed by her performance that they gave the “Born This Way” hitmaker a standing ovation.
