Kotido Secondary School Closed Indefinitely Over Strike
- Kotido Senior Secondary School has been closed indefinitely following a violent student strike on Monday evening.Rt. Rev. James Nasak, the Chairman of the School Board of Governors, says they resolved to close the school in an emergency meeting held at the school yesterday.
- Ambrose Lotukei, the Kotido District LC V Chairperson has welcomed the closure of the school temporally to allow the administration to address some of the issues raised by students.The students rampaged to protest the poor sanitary conditions in the school, failure by the administration to provide chemical reagents for practical classes and poor quality meals served at the school.
