Jailed Muk Administrator regains his freedom
Buganda road court has granted bail to a Makerere University Senior Administrator accused of indecent assault against a student.
Chief Magistrates James Eremye Mawanda granted Kisuze bail after being convinced that he will not jump bail and interfere with prosecution witnesses.
He has been ordered to pay 2mshs and his sureties to sign a noncash bond of 10mshs to ensure that Kisuze returns to court for trial on 28th this month.
Edward Kisuze was arrested and charged last month, after his victim recorded and uploaded a video on social media, showing them in room 507 at the University Senate Building, attempting to have sexual intercourse.
Kisuze is facing charges of attempted rape.
Prosecution says Kisuze a Senior Registrar at the college of Computing and Information Science at Makerere University attempted to rape or indecently assaulted Rachel Njoroge, a former student on 13th/April/2018.
He has since denied the allegation.
