Gerald Karuhanga welcomes move by Civil society and political parties to have joint rallies
As the country heads for 2016 elections , Western Youth MP, Gerald Karuhanga says the move by Civil society and political parties to have joint rallies is welcome.
He says this will grant Ugandans an opportunity to hear from the two sides for proper judgment.
Karuhanga also says the joint rallies in search and demand for electoral reforms will help all Ugandans to take part in the democratization of the electoral system.
Meanwhile, a section of political analysts have predicted a win for president Museveni in 2016 if the electoral reforms are not implemented. This follows the endorsement of President Museveni by the NRM caucus to stand for presidency in 2016.
Political analyst, Dr.Ivan Kwesiga said the president has an edge over other candidates making it hard for them to compete fairly.
