First Lady Tips Leaders On Leaving a Legacy
- The minister of education and sports also the first lady Hon. Janet Kataaha Museveni has challenged all civic and political leaders to retire early when they are still loved.
She was responding to comments made by Ntungamo district woman MP Hon. Beatrice Rwakimaari agitating lifting the retirement age from 60 to at least 80 years in public service noting that at such an age people are still energetic to perform well than at tender age.According to the first lady retiring early will bring sanity and calmness among communities .
She made the remarks during the farewell ceremony of the outgoing head teacher of Kyamate Secondary school Munywanisa George Muhumuza held at the school’s premises Ntungamo Municipality.
She also urged all duty bearers to be transparent and contented with what they have in order to fight corruption in the country.
