EALA Parliament Kicks off Tomorrow Posted on May 27, 2013
The 6th meeting of the 1st session of the 3rd East African legislative Assembly (EALA) will tomorrow kick off in Uganda parliament.
This was confirmed by the EALA speaker Margret Zziwa.
Mrs Zziwa told news reporters at parliament that during this seating in Uganda, EALA MPs will consider the budget speech that shall be delivered by the chaired of the council of ministers Shem Bageine.
She also said that EALA MPs will debate on the East African community (EAC) vehicle load control Bill 2012 and the East African community appropriation Bill.
She further said that EALA shall hold talks with the food rights alliance on land investment and genetic modified organism (GMOs), Trade mark East Africa and familiarization tours of the Eat African development Bank in Uganda.
Meanwhile speaker Zziwa said that the president of the republic of Uganda Gen Yoweri K Museveni will address EALA seating on 5th June as the current chairman of the summit of EAC Heads of state.
