Democratic Party pulls out of National Dialogue
Opposition party DP says that it will not participate in the upcoming National Dialogue planned for next month.
The Inter-Religious council spearheading this recently announced that President Museveni will launch the National dialogue process on the 21-November -2018.
Democratic party President Nobert Mao says that although they believe in having a dialogue in the environment in which the dialogue is being prepared is not satisfactory.
Addressing a press conference today at Sheraton Hotel Mao says that they cannot have a dialogue when there is no respect for opposition political parties adding that there is also a lot of abuse from the Uganda police which does not allow political parties to organize meetings and rallies.
