Daniel Sturridge and Sam Allardyce win
According to English media reports Liverpool star Daniel Sturridge has been named Barclays Premier League player of the month for the second time this season.
The 24-year-old striker won the award after scoring five goals and producing two assists in February.
Sturridge helped Liverpool, who are second in the League table, securing victory in three matches out of four last month, beating Arsenal, Fulham and Swansea City.
Meanwhile, West Ham’s Sam Allardyce has won manager of the month award, beating Chelsea’s Jose Mourinho, Liverpool’s Brendan Rodgers and Hull City’s Steve Bruce.
Allardyce, who guided his club to mid-table with four straight wins last month, has received the award for the fifth time in his career.
