CSOs blame Kadaga for letting security forces terrorize MPs
Civil society organisations and political activists have scoffed at the speaker of parliament Rebecca kadaga for surrendering her powers to security forces who terrorized the MPs.
Speaking at a joint press conference at NGO forum at Kabalagala, a number of activists condemned the manner in which kadaga handled the sitting that left a number of MPs arrested, others injured and hospitalized.
They termed what happened at parliament as a coup enshrined on the country when the speaker let the Special force command take over her powers to torture the legislators.
Speaking with a unanimous voice, the Executive Director foundation for Human Rights Initiative Livingstone Sewanyana urged the public to remain committal to the struggle of defending the constitution and they re- affirmed their position on supporting the MPs against age limit removal given their cause which is in line of fighting for democracy.
