As another season draws to a close, every club has to come to the difficult decisions of who to offer new contracts to, and who to release.
But this year at Arsenal, a whole generation of players are set to leave as they look to promote from an impressive Under-18s side.
Highly-rated by many, his departure seemed inevitable after the signing of Nacho Monreal from Malaga in January, but has reportedly been on shortlists of clubs from the Premier League to League One.
Sead Hajrovic was seen by many as a shock departure, having been thoroughly impressive both at Under-21 level, and also out on loan to Barnet.
Other high-profile starlets that could leave include James Shea, Josh Rees, Nigel Neita, Sanchez Watt, Samir Bihmoutine, Reice Charles-Cook, Zach Fagan, Daniel Boateng and Conor Henderson – while the club have already confirmed the transfers of Craig Eastmond to Colchester United and Elton Monteiro to Club Brugge.
With all these departures, the likes of Glen Kamara, Austin Lipman, Jack Jebb, Alfred Mugabo and Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill look likely to make the step-up, and Samuel Galindo and Wellington Silva could also return to the setup with Dan Crowley, Yaya Sanogo and Julio Pleguezuelo Selva all set to join the club.
