Army Court drops charges against Bobi Wine, Gulu Magistrate Court remands him
The Army general court martial sitting in Gulu Chaired by Gen. Andrew Guti has withdrawn charges against Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi also known as Bobi wine.
The court says he should be transferred to the police to face charges of treason a suggestion that his legal team has objected to. When the court session opened a prosecutor of the army major Rafael Mugisha indicated that the court had resolved to withdraw the charges saying the cases against Kyagulanyi belong to the civil court.
Meanwhile, Bobi Wine appeared before Gulu Magistrate, Yunusu Ndiwalana, and has been remanded to a health facility to receive treatment in Gulu until August 30.
