Angelina Jolie Stuns in Black Dress While Posing With Her Six Children at TIFF
Dress to impress! Angelina Jolie was the ultimate bombshell as she hit the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival on Monday, September 11. Rocking a slinky black dress, the “Maleficent” actress attended the event for the Canadian premiere of “First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers”, a movie which she directed, co-wrote and co-produced.
Looking happier than ever, Angelina was all smiles as she was joined by her six children. Kimhak Mun and Sareum Srey Moch, child actors who star in the movie, were seen posing with them along with Luong Ung, a Cambodian writer whose memoir was adapted into the acclaimed film. “First They Killed My Father” takes place in Cambodia, where Maddox Jolie-Pitt was adopted by Angelina and her estranged husband Brad Pitt. Maddox was credited as an executive producer while Pax, whom the actress adopted from Vietnam, worked as the film’s still photographer.
“Mad has known of Luong’s story his whole life, and I told him, ‘One day, son, you will be ready and you will tell me it’s time to go deeply into your country. But I need your help and you have to work and you have to be there every day and you can’t say no and that you are tired,’ ” Angelina recently shared. “And one day he said, ‘I am ready.’ ” When hitting the red carpet at TIFF, Angelina shared with E! News that she would love for her children to work in Hollywood. “Maddox worked hard. It’s up to him. This [film] is very important to him, but I think so,” she said, before adding, “I might dream. If I am to continue to be in this business I’d love to work with my children if they choose to be in this business.”
The 42-year-old actress hoped that her children would pursue their passion as well as interest in social advocacy. “My daughter [Shiloh Jolie-Pitt] has gone to refugee camps. Whenever I go on humanitarian trips, they want to go with me,” she revealed. “I never force them. I want them to respect people of diversity.”
