Over 90,000 people to benefit from free yellow fever vaccination campaign
Over 90,000 people are set to benefit from a free yellow fever vaccination campaign that starts today organized by the National Medical Stores and the Ministry of Health to reward tax payers.
According to the National Medical Stores General Manager, Moses Kamabare, the 3-day exercise that kicked off today at the Kololo Independent Grounds is part of activities to, mark the Uganda Revenue Authority Taxpayers appreciation Week.
According to the Ministry of Health and Civil Aviation Authority, all passengers traveling in and out of Entebbe International Airport are supposed to present proof of immunization against the disease inform of certificates or cards.
However, majority of Ugandans have not been able to meet the immunization fees ranging between Shs80, 000 and 100,000 charged by few accredited private health facilities around the country.
